What Advice for America’s President-Elect

Millions of Americans fear outbreaks of violence and shootings in the streets expected the day after the election. At the beginning of the week we saw the trailer for the upcoming movie: a black man from Philadelphia tried to attack the cops with a knife, and they shot him back. Riots broke out immediately, including serious acts of vandalism: looting stores, destroying property, setting vehicles and private cars on fire. Dozens of police officers were injured, the unrest had already spread to Brooklyn and continues to this day.

American society seems to be approaching a boiling point. The election is about to ignite the fire of hatred. But despite the dance of madness in the streets, let us wish the Americans to act in one direction only: to build bridges! As it is written in the Pentateuch, “Love will cover all crimes.

Understanding the message of “Love thy neighbor as thyself” requires the support of the media and a broad educational system. And since these words are well known to every American, I would advise the President-elect, whoever he may be, to gather around him all the leaders of religions and parties, all the statesmen and scientists, sociologists and journalists, to encourage them to spread this message. After all, it is time to overcome the hatred of division and mutual attacks!

It must be stated that the citizens of America begin to build together the umbrella of unity and love and from this moment on act together, to think how to get rid of the selfishness that has gripped the nation, to broadcast a spirit of consideration and care. To give the general public a glimpse of a very possible apocalyptic future, how the “crown” collapses a great continent, how the consequences destroy the economy and how a great power loses the reins of industry, trade, technology and science.

Consequently, a revolution in consciousness is already required today. And here everyone is a partner in solving a common problem. The very feeling of common destiny is half the solution.
