Natalia Bekhtereva described an interesting story about a five-year-old boy living alone in the forest for five days without food or water. His relatives searched for him, the whole village looked for him, and then the rescue service got involved.

The weather was cold, the time was heading towards winter, frost at night, it was obvious that the child could not survive in such conditions. That’s why they stopped looking for him. But the little hero survived. He came out at the other end of the forest where the village was and asked for dumplings quite calmly.

Bekhtereva studied this case, the child was examined in Moscow: it turned out that the integrity of the body was not broken. What kept the baby alive? The child was telling me that he wasn’t scared.

He grew up near the forest, where he often went with his parents, and felt good about the forest. And when he got lost, he found something he could eat, though not everything was safe, but the boy didn’t know that. So the body produced the right enzymes to protect and digest what it ate. The complete certainty that everything around was for the good was aligning the entire body to the same benign state of trust.

At night the child sat in a tree – it was warmer there than on the ground. The conviction that he was in a good, safe place was the key to salvation for the boy, as. his parents had written into his mind from an early age the attitude: the forest is safe. So the body adapted and survived.

It turns out that it is possible to set the brain the necessary program. It has been proven that it is constantly developing, although not long ago we were told that its development only occurs during childhood.

Neuroscientists have described how the brain has evolved throughout the formation of humanity. The first to take place was the original, ancient brain – the reptilian brain, which is responsible for safety, so it is always on standby: hit and run!

For an example, it’s easy to think of our various spontaneous reactions that we are ashamed of. Or the simplest example is how during surgery under local anesthesia, even though you don’t feel pain, your body involuntarily tenses up, expecting pain. This is how the reptilian brain shows itself – it stands guard for life.

Only a hundred million years ago, an intelligent part of the brain, the neocortex, was formed through which we can consciously regulate the spontaneous reptilian brain responses. The brain works complexly, like a mega computer, and yet we try to understand its workings.

Scientists have discovered that conscious actions strengthen neural connections in the neocortex. As a result, we are instructing the body: relax, don’t disturb the doctor, everything is fine. Or in conversation: take a pause, think it through, control your reactions!

Realizing how the brain works is like discovering a new horizon, new possibilities, making the impossible possible. We have the attitudes of childhood; our parents gave us what they could. But the miracle is that the belief matrix can be changed by maintaining a positive attitude of gratitude for care, even if there were mistakes in parenting. In order to change a habitual reaction or erroneous belief, you have to accept that there is a problem.

By tracking down the wrong programs, one can gradually replace beliefs, change habits, learn new skills, learn languages, and most importantly for humanity, master the understanding of interconnectedness between people, i.e. to study integral methodology. The age can be any age, even the most advanced.

Understanding our interconnectedness helps to restrain impulsive emotions by strengthening self-control and moral principles, to understand the aspirations of another person by showing empathy, to be an observer of our own and other people’s reflections, and to foster the birth of common ground. Naturally, not everyone will burden themselves with self-control because they don’t realize that by thinking only of themselves, they are separating themselves from others. Knowledge accelerates human development, it is for those who want happiness for all. It is an opportunity to go beyond the boundaries of the old matrix, where everyone lived only for themselves, but now opens the door to a perfect world.

Any change does not happen immediately, it takes time, environment, and a person’s desire. It is the desire, the good intention that makes the realization of the commandment “Love your neighbor as yourself” possible.

After all, what is inside a person is what he broadcasts to the world! Give your environment positive, calm and harmonious states, and the world will begin to change, filling you with care and happiness in return.
