As man developed, he created an artificial environment for himself and became more and more estranged from nature. Nature endowed man with the ability to create, she revealed her laws and allowed her resources to be used.
Man took from nature whatever he wanted: air, water, food of plant and animal origin, minerals. All this Nature gave to man without resistance, because she created him and took care of his existence. Just as she took care of the existence of all her creations.
And as long as man took only what was vital, the two systems: nature and civilization got along peacefully. And then a quality woke up in man that is absent in other creations of nature. This is selfishness.
Selfishness could not manifest itself under natural conditions. After all, selfishness is the exaltation of one’s self over one’s own. And in conditions of civilization, this property has found a place to run wild. After all, nature has not only gifted man with self-love, but has created human beings differently. Strong and weak, smart and not so smart, enterprising and inert.
And man began to shamelessly use his advantages over other people, taking for himself the fruits of other people’s labor. And when he was too shy to do it openly, he invented clever tricks for appropriating the results of other people’s efforts.
And if in the beginning man took something from others in order to survive, then he began to do it out of a sense of superiority and power. There is no such thing in any community of nature’s creations. In flocks of animals, birds, fish, ant colonies, bee swarms. Thus, a new world, a new system of relationships between creatures, appeared in the unified realm of nature.
There is a natural world in which every creature is assured of existence. And the human world, where there is a constant struggle for power and for money. A world where no one needs goods for the sake of money, while hundreds of millions of people lack the necessities of life.
Of course, nature might not have created a selfishness, and we would have lived peacefully and happily. But, like animals. After all, a man cannot be born a man, he must work hard to become one.
And now, with the help of her tiny creation, the coronavirus, nature wants to help us make the human world similar to hers. Instead of thinking about how to make money off each other, think about how to save each other. And use nature’s bounty to meet immediate needs, not your own ambitions.
