And again about sex

A friend of mine says it’s no wonder how much of what used to be considered taboo or frowned upon has become the norm for us. I’m talking about sex.

“Pornhub has become something like Netflix. And in Denmark they’re now putting on TV a children’s cartoon about the guy with the longest penis. It’s hard to surprise any average teenager in developed countries with anything in sex anymore, same-sex relationships and – here we go.

What fifty years ago was considered debauchery or something unacceptable, we have already become disgusted with. Even if we haven’t tried it ourselves. Boredom. Ordinariness.

The man hit bottom. Everything in the world has already been tried, invented, eaten, looked at, felt, shown, made up. And when the last thing left behind is that which is instinctually the most desirable, the most appealing, the most hidden, man in an attempt to somehow fill himself with new thrills, got there as well.

Got there and got fed up in a short time. Everything. There’s nothing else left. So much so, in fact, that many young people cringe in disgust or raise their eyebrows indifferently at the word sex. Like – well, what’s the big deal? Everyone has already seen it, everyone has tried it. There’s nothing left to hide. There’s nothing to reach for.

When a girl used to put eyeliner on her eyes and cover her knees halfway up her skirt, it was beautiful. It was appealing. There was something about that. For the man and for the woman herself. And now it’s all open. I don’t want to.

I don’t even have any thoughts about it. All I can do is look for a link to a Danish cartoon.
