It was a beautiful morning in New York City on September 11, 2001. A bright blue sky with no gray clouds, no ominous hint. But suddenly everything changed. Two planes crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center, causing the buildings to collapse within two hours. Another plane attacked the Pentagon in Washington. About 3,000 people were killed in the United States in a massive terrorist attack. America was brought to its knees, and history changed its vector.

What has changed?

The world hasn’t changed much since then. Today, terrorist organizations threaten all countries at any time. More and more organizations are arming themselves, and the distance between the finger and the red button is getting shorter. An important lesson that has not been learned: the lack of cooperation between countries. Instead of uniting with one another and dealing a decisive blow to all the terrorist organizations that are raising their heads one by one, each country looks out for itself and ignores the others. Global terrorism can only be fought by international efforts. And while there is no such trend, the next terrorist attack is coming.

Twenty years have passed since the day we watched the plane crash live in amazement. From the moment the shock silenced the noisy city, until now, the world has not perceived that blow as a trumpet call for unification. The selfishness of any country is so strong that it hides a transparent hint from him. And you can learn something from the behavior of terrorist organizations: they are closely related, they have an ideology and an understanding of how to act in the next phase. They are loaded with money and honored, because today being a terrorist is a well-paid job.

Dozens of attacks around the world have shown humanity the power of terrorists willing to give their lives for an ideal. Consequently, no capital in the world can break terrorism because it cannot be bought. All are weak before the threat of terrorism. To this day, everyone is trying to negotiate with terrorist organizations in their own way, but they are well prepared, they know how to leave when the pressure is on and how to reappear. In the meantime, they get lots of money, lots of guns – that’s all they need to wait it out. Terrorism is growing at the expense of some countries, and terrorists should not work at all. For example, do terrorists in Gaza need to work? No. Qatar gives them millions of dollars.

The gap will widen more and more, the Democrats will continue to erect high towers into the sky in pursuit of money, honor and power, but without an ideological foundation. On the other hand, terrorist organizations based on zealous religious faith will grow stronger. Consequently, as long as they grow on their firm ground, no one will be able to fortify the borders, place security officers at every gate, or inspect every person from head to toe.

20 years since the attack on the twin towers

attacks on the twin towers

Twenty years have passed since the attack on the Twin Towers, but the killing of Osama bin Laden has not calmed the situation. In his place came thousands more who were willing to sacrifice their lives. Has the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan, after twenty years of terrorist attacks, brought relief? No. Over those years, America lost about 2,400 people, about $2.3 trillion dollars, and achieved the opposite of its original intent. She brought up a monster herself, which she then had to fight.

While the extremist Islamic groups are confronting each other. But eventually they can unite under one roof and force all countries to bow down before them, including the modern great powers. The fundamentalists are ready to fight forever, and so far no one can stop them. Now that the Taliban have their own Islamic state, they can carry out their plan: raise the green flag of Islam throughout the world.

It’s time to act

It is already clear that the Old World is in the process of disintegration. He won’t last long. The only superpower will remain China, a rising star on the international stage. China is admittedly an unsolved mystery. He does not want to control others the way America and Russia do. He is directing his long arms toward acquiring strategic facilities, but the benefits of this strategy are still unclear. China produces most of the world’s goods, but production is not ideological. So it is still unclear what he wants other than to conquer world trade. In fact, it will be the first to suffer the day the world economy slows down; we have already seen a downward trend in consumption in a pandemic year.

No matter how we throw a card, it seems that an ace will never come out. Humanity is not learning. Yesterday an airplane exploded, tomorrow an atomic bomb will explode, and that explosion will affect the world for generations.

A world torn by hatred and violence will be looking for answers. And if, faced with a problem, it will unite, it will survive. However, if the world remains as it is today – polarized and full of internal hatred – the steam will begin to tear the structure apart.

The sky is still blue today – we have to act before it’s too late.
