A world where it will soon be impossible to live

Scientists at Columbia University in the United States and Loughborough University in the United Kingdom have refuted previous calculations predicting that global climate change in the tropical and subtropical regions of the earth is expected only in the second half of this century. They made an interactive map of the world, marking outbreaks of extreme heat that exceed the limits of human physiological survival.

Such incidents are increasingly common on the shores of reservoirs, bays, and seas, where intense evaporation from the water surface increases the overall humidity. Combined with the high temperature of the air, 32-35 degrees Celsius, it becomes dangerous for humans, because. makes it difficult for the body to cool naturally through sweat. The human body overheats and internal organs begin to malfunction. In this state of the environment, which meteorologists measure by the “wet bulb” scale, a person can die in a few hours even with shade and potable water.

The most unprotected countries are those where the population is not able to live in rooms with electricity and air conditioning. For example, people in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Red Sea and Gulf Coast, parts of Southeast Asia, subtropical Africa, southern China, and the Caribbean have to work outdoors as subsistence farmers. Climate change could lead to the collapse of the economies of a number of these countries and the subsequent mass migration of people to more favorable regions of the world.

How much can we do to stop the overheating of the planet and the ensuing migration-economic collapse? The forces that determine the state of the world do exist. If we understand that it is not CO2 emissions that affect the ecology and the atmosphere, as we have been led to believe in our research, but that the atmosphere is determined by forces whose main component is our desires and thoughts. It is these that lead to the disruption of connections between people, which leads to the deformation of all levels of Nature.

Harmony in ecology begins with harmony in society. All we have to do is mend our attitudes a little bit, bringing calm and balance to society, to have a tremendous impact on our biosphere.
