Medical workers with a smile on the “front lines

In this turbulent time of pandemic, medical professionals around the world have truly been on the “front lines. They have to spend almost all their time at work, sometimes 18-20 hours a day, trying to contain the spread of infection. Thanks to them, the situation is currently under control in some countries.

Naturally, there is a heartfelt sincere respect for all the medical personnel, who have moved almost to a round-the-clock mode of operation. This is also the case in Spain. Every night, residents applaud the medical professionals on the front lines of the pandemic in a show of support.

And the health care workers themselves paste their photos with a smile on their protective suits, so patients see them not only wearing masks.

In some countries, restaurants provide free lunches for medics and emergency workers. A charity campaign was launched in Moscow under the hashtag “doctors must be saved”. The project raises money for personal protective equipment. A volunteer project was launched to provide psychological assistance to physicians who are experiencing anxiety and emotional overload during the pandemic.

Journalist Katerina Gordeeva suggested supporting the doctors who are fighting the coronavirus pandemic and applauding them every night at 10 p.m. “I think it’s important not to feel alone. And it’s important to know you’re supported. That’s the power of love, there’s nothing more important than that in the world,” she wrote on Instagram.

But there are cases when health care workers face the opposite attitude. This is how some hospital and medical staff are attacked by neighbors who are afraid of being infected. Many find notes at their doors demanding that they relocate.

As physicians today find themselves on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, they are the first to experience states of disunity and unity.

With the right attitude toward ourselves, toward the world, we manage to balance society in such a way that it also affects our body, which is out of balance. “Health” is basically what our equilibrium on all levels is called.
