World after quarantine - total control or global reset?

Conscious need

The global spread of the epidemic provoked a sharp acceleration of historical processes. Entire countries have unwittingly become a zone of large-scale social experiments, as a result of which it has already become clear that the world is changing rapidly, and soon we will live in a new reality. How will the lesson of the global threat affect relations between states, and what choice will be made between nationalist isolation and international solidarity?

Will governments lift emergency control measures taken in connection with the quarantine regime? In Israel, for example, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved an "emergency decree" directing the Israel Security Agency to deploy surveillance technology commonly used to fight terrorists to track coronavirus patients. Such measures were resorted to in most countries in order to prevent the uncontrolled spread of the epidemic.

Modern technologies and surveillance tools allow for centralized biometric monitoring, tracking and manipulation of people. None of us knows exactly how we are being monitored, who will then have access to our personal data and for what purpose they will use it. Today there is a digital transformation of the existing model of people management. It becomes more and more universal and, embedding each user of communication technologies, imperceptibly takes root and forcibly invades the life of every “digitized” person.

The experience of forced isolation teaches us not only to jointly look for a way out of the current situation, but also gives us time to think about what we really want, what is the most important thing in a person’s life, what can be done without, and what has completely depreciated and turned out to be superfluous. The sooner we realize our inextricable connection and dependence not only on each other, but also on nature, the more effectively we will be able to establish global cooperation at a new level. If we learn to show care, attention and responsible attitude to those around us and to the world around us, to use resources rationally, to adhere to a reasonable level of consumption, to build good ties between people, nations and cultures, our common tomorrow will be more harmonious than today.

Society is us, it is we who shape the reality in which our children will live. We need to learn how to play the game ourselves, so as not to be blind pawns in someone else's game. And for this you need to understand what free will is. Man's free will lies in the fact that he himself chooses the path of development: against nature or together with it, in harmony.

As soon as each of us feels the desire to do something for the sake of the other, and in return for our actions receives mutual care, relations between us will move to a qualitatively new level, and then even the most advanced control and manipulation technologies that do not benefit society will turn out to be useless.

  1. And what is better, total control or absolute trust?
We began to think, maybe it's worth trying to take care of each other, not paying attention to the grins and provocations of alarmists. Of course, the mind does not agree to work "for an uncle", but everything has changed, everyone needs help without exception, and this can be done by uniting ....

  2. Great article! I agree with the author that soon we will live in a new reality, which we ourselves form with our thoughts and actions. And we choose the path of harmonization of relations with nature, society, relatives and close people.

  3. Everything depends on the people themselves. If people showed consciousness (understood their actions and their interconnection and influence on others), it would not have come to a situation of control. People were given the opportunity to show independence, so what? See how many are infected, where did they come from? This is not the European Union with open borders. I had to use force.
Then everything depends on the behavior of society.
Will his data lie in the archive or will they have to be used against society, but for its own benefit.

    • The trial and error method is how governments now operate, they don’t really know what is more correct: to put everyone at home or continue to work and study for everyone, isolating only the elderly and chronically ill people. But the time to think about your own life and health has definitely come.
